Dear Friends,

Welcome to February 2018... for me this is the month that the new year truly kicks in after the Chinese New year on the 16th of February.  Its only then that the true energy of the new year can be felt. We are saying goodbye to the "Fire Rooster"... and welcoming in the "Earth Dog".

For me personally the Earth element this year is supporting my personal goals and intentions... even my personal word for 2018 is "GROW". My symbol for 2018 is the HUMMINGBIRD and my personal symbol for the year is the BULL.  All the meaning and energy contained within these symbols and words are inter-related and speak of grounded, steady, persistent, focused growth and expansion within my career, personal life and relationships. I am looking forward to getting rooted deeper into the earth energy to GROW and expand this year...

Firstly I present the "Go Beyond experience" (TM),  and my first workshop for 2018 has just taken place on the 27th of January! What an amazing experience.  If you missed out on that... here are the dates for the next Go Beyond events this year... book in advance to secure your seat because space is limited to only 10 participants at a time!

21 April, 21 July and 24 November are the available dates you can book to have your personal Go Beyond experience.

Then, I have "personal symbol" sessions that you can book with me. During a personal symbol session, we explore what symbols can best support your intention for 2018, and I show you how to paint this symbol on a canvas to help support you throughout the year. A personal symbol session is 3 hours long and I charge R350 for the session. Bookings can be made for individuals or groups. The sessions can be experienced in person or over a Zoom internet conference call, which ever is more comfortable or accessible for you!

My next offering, is a "Clarity Session"... I  offer this to all my first time personal coaching clients as a first step to "Go Beyond" personal limitations;

In this Clarity Session Workshop, you are going to create THREE “Imagination Goals.” You will choose the three things you worry about the most, identify the limiting belief, create a new belief and, then, turn them around into magical dreams of the future that you are about to step into…NO MATTER WHAT!

Imagination is our internal paintbrush of possibility. Many of us have not been taught how to create the images of what we want in our minds. I am going to share with you a way to do this through the healing power of art and symbolism."

2018 New year's blog

Happy New Year to you! 
May 2018 be blessed and prosperous to you all!

I hope you are all doing very well! It was my intention to write my December blog, but it was so crazy and busy through December that I never got round to it... so here we are, already in the first month of the new year and I have lots of fresh news to share with you all! Please enjoy my original artworks throughout this blog!

But before we get into all the new and fresh news, I would like to take a moment to just reflect a bit on what I did in 2017 by mentioning some of the major highlights of last year!

Firstly I got married in February,  yes! Its almost a year! I am really grateful for my partner, without him, this past year and all the new ventures and opportunities that came along,  would not have been possible!

Then I  started my own business and by the 1st of March, this too will be one year old! During the first year of my new venture, I expanded my services to include creative life coaching, as well as art therapy, and I furthered my studies in the field of applied psycology by completing my 2nd year studdies in Logotherapy at UNISA. 

When you read all of what I engaged with in one paragraph like that, it doesn't seem like much, but believe me when I say that 2017 has been one of my busiest and most productive years to date. As some of you will know, I barely touched ground this past year, as the speed at which I needed to keep pace, meant there was no time for slowing down or for resting. So no wonder by the end of 2017, I  felt a bit exausted and burned out. So needless to say, I  was grateful for a few days rest over the festive season, and now I am ready to get into a new and exciting year ahead!

Now, lets get into the new stuff...

In the field of futher studies, I will be taking a rest from Logotherapy for this year to incorporate and ground all the information and knowledge I accumulated throughout last year. I will be focusing on getting my creative coaching aspect of my business off the ground, and solidifying my hairdressing business with a focus on gaining new clients who reside in and around the salon in the Wonderboom area.

So if you have any friends, family or co- workers that you know who live in the Kollonade, Montana, Magalieskruin and Wonderboom area, please do them a favour and reccomend my services to them! I would really appreciate it!

Then, if you would like to become creatively fit in 2018, or if you want to learn an easy painting technique, or if you would like to give Art Therapy a go, in order to grow personally, please reach out to me, as I have a lot to offer in this regard! I offer personal coaching and as well as to groups. I can also customise events to suit your needs. The creative coaching method is new to South Africa and I am one of the first coaches that offer this method and perspective here. It has proven very successful abroad with creative coaches all over the world helping individuals and corporate businesses grow beyond previous limitations.

This is a collection of art from some of my creative coaching clients that have recently participated in one of my events. Most of them have never created art like this before nor did they have any previous art training.

Welcome to the Go Beyond experience whereby we use a creative and simple method to achieve extraordinary results. This method of coaching uses creative expression on the canvas as a life metaphor and requires NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OR ART SKILLS.

This method is not about producing art in the traditional sense, but rather a means to reconnect participants to their intuition and creative right-brain, by bypassing the over critical and controling ego-based left brain.
