My Vision Quest ~ Water insights

Here is my story about painting...
As far as I can remember I was attracted to anything colourful that I could express myself with. I can still recall some of my first colouring books and the crayons I used to colour it with.

I have a fond memory of art class in my primary school days where the art teacher saw potential within me and encouraged me to persue my art. I knew I would go to high school and art would be my main subject and focus. My path ahead was clear to me.

But my life path was about to take a turn I did  not expect. My parents decided after a heart breaking financial disappointment to relocate us to a different city, and the high school I was about to enter did not offer art as a subject! Nothing prepared me for this devastating discovery. My own life plan ahead came crushing down. I lost all my friends, I was alone and I had to take subjects like accounting and German! Not quite the colourful high school career I imagined.

But even in the seemingly creative dead zone I entered, I managed to find ways to be creative and to express myself in a creative manner...

I focused all my creative energy on my piano lessons and soon music became the main means of creative expression for me. I painted with music. It wasn't until my senior year when a guidance counselor informed me that my aptitude tests revealed that I should study art for a career that I tried desperately on my own to get back into creating art.

Needles to say that my application to be accepted into art school got declined. I simply did not have the necessary skills to be accepted into the  fine arts academy I applied to. Again another creative door got slammed in my face.

Yet again I had to make full use of what ever means of creative expression I could find.  On and on, the spiral of life took me untill I found myself on the a creative career path of hairstyling.

But the canvas and art studio dream eluded me up until the point in my life where I understood that art for me would not just be a career... it would be an energetic healing modality. And it would enter my life at exactly the correct time for me. The teacher appears when the student is ready.

Ever since my training as a Creatively Fit Coach, my life transformed right in front of my eyes. It needed to be a step of faith for me. I had to want to step through the door and take hold of the brush and not let go of it at any cost... and the second I no longer allowed circumstances to rob me of my souls inheritance, it became mine!

Claiming your personal power back from situations that you perceived yourself as helpless in, is a powerful experience.

Beginning to paint with passion and clarity during my vision quest in the Creatively Fit Coaching Certificate course was when this all clicked into place for me.

My intention is that by sharing my journey of becoming the artist I was meant to be, and also how to become Creatively Fit, you are also inspired to open up to all the ways you are creative—we are creating our life each moment.

I will be teaching these processes starting in November 2020—yay! Go here NEWSLETTER SIGNUP
to be the first to receive special announcements and offers leading up to my launch!

Is your sacred spark burning brightly or is it more like a glowing ember? Do you feel inspired by the art that is your life or are you hoping for change? I am learning that we can create the change we want on the inside and it will ripple out! Thank you for witnessing my Vision Quest!

My Vision Quest ~ Fire insight

In the Creatively Fit Coaching Training this week, I am guiding the new coaches in fanning the flame of their sacred spark, the FIRE element, by beginning a personal painting practice that is like meditation or energy work.

I  was super excited to get going back when I first did the training; I was finally going to learn how to paint! Little did I know that besides learning this painting made easy technique, I would also become equipped with a powerful mindfulness tool that would sharpen my awareness into the art that is my life.

As I  painted layer upon layer, I  began to feel the joy of creating with the freedom I longed for. Without fear of judgment or criticism. No longer seeking external approval and validation. I could paint and create anything I wanted at the canvas, with a regular painting practice and some persistence,  anything is possible!

After regular practice in my studio, I began to understand that just like I could make changes on the canvas... so too changes could be made in my life. I began to realise that the story that I tell about my life, was just that... a story!  And I did not have to use the colours that life dealt me... I now knew how to mix any colour, and to choose the colours that makes me happy!

I discovered that the canvas is a portal to my life, and I can apply the methods of painting used in this course as a coaching metaphor to help understand how to set goals and achieve them.

Do you paint? Would a blank canvas make you nervous, excited or scared? Are you ready to ignite a fire of passion and create a painting practice of your own?

Please share and continue to look out for more inspiration and deeper insights as we continue on our Vision Quest into
the element of Fire.

My Creatively Journey Up Until Now

WHY MY CREATIVE PRACTICE IS SO IMPORTANT.

It was during the darkest and loneliest part of my life that I finally realised how powerful and effective creative expression was for me. I had just lost my best friend of nearly 20 years, I was single, living alone and I was working at a place where I didn't fit in, and my self worth was at the lowest point in my life.

During therapy and because of personal development courses I learnt that making art and being creative was a personal value that I have been neglecting because of a limiting belief that I was not an artist. I loved to play with colour on a canvas, and tried many times throughout my life to take up painting,  but because I had no idea how to realise my vision on the canvas, I didnt take it up as a serious hobby.

It was durung this dark stage that I had this insight, that I felt drawn to the canvas and began to play with this medium on a regular basis. Soon I began to feel better, and my art started to look better as my confidence grew.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT MYSELF.

The canvas is a porthole into your life! As I began to spend more regular time at the canvas, I became aware of subtle changes in my personality. I became less defensive, I became more socially interactive and I also started to feel better and sleep better.

Up until this point I was a TV addict, suffering from anxiety and depression and I was dealing with obesity (Diabetes type 2).

I realised that I wanted to live a better life and my art made me realise that there was a lot of unfulfilled potential within me. I recognised that I have the capacity to be nurturing and caring, and began to get involved at a Lifeline community counselling and support centre. Here I learnt a lot about myself and I began to work on myself rather than to continue playing the victim in the story of my life. I began to claim my personal power back before I even knew that is what i was doing.

I felt inspired to organise and host an art exhibition and auction to raise funds for the counselling centre.

I created the "Art with Heart" event and decided to lead by example and paint something beautiful that could be added to the exhibition, not at all certain how much its sale would be able to contribute to the cause.

It's funny how when you dive deep into life so much is given back to you...

While I was painting the water lilly for the "Art with Heart" auction, I met my husband to be, and this Divine romance entered the stage of my barren life.

Everything began to change for me!

My painting fetched the highest auction price for the evening at R7500! This absolutely blew me away! My painting?!

I was not even a professional artists and amongst 12 other "professional artists" who donated artwork my creation,  ending a very successful evening with a bidding war, fetched the highest price!

I will never forget how I felt when I  came home that evening. Elated! I felt recognised and validated as an artist! Obviously I had it in me to paint a pretty picture.

But now I needed more!

Enter the Creatively Fit Coaching Certificate course with Whitney Freya, and the very first thing I learned was that...

I AM A LIFE ARTIST, AND MY LIFE IS THE CANVAS OF MY SOUL.

That just blew my mind.

My husband and I enrolled in this certificate course with Whitney shortly after we got married and I had just began my own business as a hairstylist.

During this time I completed training in counselling and in Logotherapy (a meaning centred therapy ) and the student (me) was now ready for the teacher to appear.

The Creatively Fit Coaching Certificate course with Whitney Freya changed my life forever.

This intensive program took me to the canvas daily for a very challenging 6 month programme that proved to me that I am an artist.

It was a very powerful moment during the course where I finally saw this truth in myself and I finly gave myself permission to step into that role. I am an artist! And from that point forward the art that is my life and my artwork exploded into a depth of beauty and joy that I have only dreamed of experiencing.

Today I am a certified Creatively Fit Life Coach and I am busy with my degree in modern applied psychology. My husband and I created the "Go Beyond" personal growth experiential training based on the principles of the CCFC training as well as Logotherapy.

Up until this point I have created an online academy and have offered numerous in person workshops along with my husband. I am currently a CCFC course guide and plan to take my virtual school and YouTube channel further through regular offerings.

Art therapy vs Creative coaching ?

What is art therapy?

The American Art Therapy Association characterizes art therapy as an approach to mental health that utilizes the process of creating art to improve mental, physical, and emotional wellness.

What is creative coaching?

Creativity Coaches are similar to life coaches, but focus more specifically on your creative work. Creativity Coaches help you to develop your artistic and humanistic talents. Creativity Coaches have helped thousands of artists, writers, inventors, entrepreneurs and other creative souls to accomplish their dreams.

What are their differences?

The biggest difference is that a qualified art therapist is trained is psychology as wel as art and uses art therapy to assist patients to deal with and cope with various mental, emotional as wel as physical challenges. This method is comonly used in hospitals, correction facilities and schools.

Creative coaches makes use of art materials like the canvas and paint as a metaphor and method of life coaching. Coaches are trained in life coaching methods and can have various backgrounds in art and life sciences.

What do these two methods have in common and who can it help?

Both methods use art as the focus and method through which the person receiving the session is empowered through self realization. This environment and method assist the individual to express themselves in a non judgemental space where the purpose of art making is not focused on the end product but rather in the act or process of art making. This process brings to light within the participant a deeper understanding of their core beliefs, emotional intelligence and offers methods of coping strategies to deal with difficulties and life challenges or changes.

It offers a visual medium to discover life purpose and to find deeper meaning in current life events.

It can be used as a visionary method to realise how to become a "better you" through goal setting and even help facilitate an attitude modulation to adjust negative self beliefs and to empower core values not previously recognized.

No art skills or training is required for either methods. Both methods help any participant to discover the artist residing within us all. Both methods empowers the individual to recognize latent talent, unexplored possibilities and the creative development automatically happens when we are allowed to freely express yourself in a safe environment with no judgement of what it is you create.

You find your own meaning in your art work and that is the biggest realization that will come through an art therapy or creative coaching session.

Therefore any person can find these methods helpful, enriching and life enhancing.

My name is Gideon Busquét-Craucamp aka Gideonslight. I am a certified Creatively fit Coach, Life Coach and hold certification in Art therapy, counselling, Logotherapy and mindfulness practices.

Stay healthy this winter by drinking tea!

Every news channel across the world has one message that is spreading fear and dread; Corona-virus. This disease is being labelled as one of the most disproportionate media disasters of the new decade. So much damage is being done by the media's incessant focus on the disease and it's spreading throughout the world. Wrong information combined with false reports by the public spreads like wild fire causing wide spread panic.

Let's all take a deep breath and let all that unnecessary fear and stress go. Corona viruses are nothing new, discovered in 1960 already. Most upper airway infections caused by viruses are a type of Corona-virus, that is why a number is included in the classification to help differentiate between them...

I have decided to share a more positive spin on this health crisis by focusing on more positive things that will hopefully leave you feeling empowered and ready to face this coming winter in South Africa.

Before I begin I would like to mention that I am not a medical practitioner and that the information shared in this blog is intended as a holistic supplement to support the immune system and is not by any means preventative or a cure for any health related problem. If you suffer from any medical condition I recommend that you consult your physician before making any changes to your diet or before you consume any suggested remedies in this blog.

Winter is associated with health challenges ranging from the common cold to more serious illness like the flu or pneumonia. Most of us try our best to avoid getting sick, and some people get flu vaccinations whilst others amp up on vitamin C and other immune boosting supplements.

Which ever route  you feel works for you, good hygiene still remains the most effective defense against infection. Here are some common examples:
*Wash your hands regularly with warm soapy water for at least 20 seconds.
*Avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth.
*Avoid contact with people who are coughing, sneezing and who has runny noses.
*Avoid any direct contact with tissue paper, cups or cutlery used by sick people.
*If you are sick please stay at home! (This is not the time to come do your hair at the salon!)
*Take a hot shower the minute you get home before getting in your bed. This way if there are any viruses on your skin or clothes they get removed from your body before it gets a chance to contaminate your sleeping area.

The use of face masks are controversial as we don't have a culture of wearing masks when we are feeling under the weather in SA. The correct idea behind wearing a face mask is to avoid spreading your germs if you feel sick and have to move around in public spaces... but because it is not a common practice in our culture, healthy people are starting to wear masks in order to avoid getting sick. This might reduce your risk of inhaling air burn viruses but it is not 100% effective all of the time. So don't rely on this as your only means of defence.

80% of all infected people do recover when infected by a Corona virus and if you do get sick you will depend mostly on your immune system as there are no known cure for any Corona-virus. Antibiotics help fight infection especially secondary infections caused by bacteria. But antibiotics does not cure you. Your immune system therefore is your most important defense you have in fighting off any disease.

But the main reason I wanted to write today is to tell you of my favourite tea from Woolworths, that I have discovered that might just be, the single most powerful remedy to boost your immune system with this winter. It is the Higher Living Golden Turmeric Organic tea!

Yes you have read that correctly. Tea! A simple cup of tea might just contain the magic ingredients to boost your immunity and fight of infection. Here are the ingredients of this organic tea and its health benefits:

Organic Golden Tumeric tea
A spicy infusion of:
turmeric 64%
ginger 18%
liqorice 15%
rose petals 3%
It is naturally caffeine free.

Turmeric and especially its most active compound curcumin have many scientifically-proven health benefits, such as the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer's and cancer. It's a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.

Ginger is a popular spice. It is high in gingerol, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
*Ginger can help prevent various types of nausea. This applies to sea sickness, chemotherapy-related nausea, nausea after surgery and morning sickness.
*Ginger appears to be effective at reducing the day-to-day progression of muscle pain, and may reduce exercise-induced muscle soreness.
*There are some studies showing ginger to be effective at reducing symptoms of osteoarthritis, which is a very common health problem.
*Ginger has been shown to lower blood sugar levels and improve various heart disease risk factors in patients with type 2 diabetes.
*Ginger appears to speed up emptying of the stomach, which can be beneficial for people with indigestion and related stomach discomfort.
*Ginger appears to be very effective against menstrual pain when taken at the beginning of the menstrual period.
*There is some evidence, in both animals and humans, that ginger can lead to significant reductions in LDL cholesterol and blood triglyceride levels.
*Ginger contains a substance called 6-gingerol, which may have protective effects against cancer. However, this needs to be studied a lot more.
*Studies suggest that ginger can protect against age-related damage to the brain. It can also improve brain function in elderly women.
*The Active Ingredient in Ginger Can Help Fight Infections:
*Gingerol, the bioactive substance in fresh ginger, can help lower the risk of infections.
*In fact, ginger extract can inhibit the growth of many different types of bacteria.
*It is very effective against the oral bacteria linked to inflammatory diseases in the gums, such as gingivitis and periodontitis.
*Fresh ginger may also be effective against the RSV virus, a common cause of respiratory infections.
(Excerpt from Healtline blog: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/11-proven-benefits-of-ginger#section11)

Licorice root is used to soothe gastrointestinal problems. In cases of food poisoning, stomach ulcers, and heartburn, licorice root extract can speed the repair of stomach lining and restore balance. This is due to the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties of glycyrrhizic acid.

*Rose tea is rich in polyphenols, such as gallic acid, anthocyanins, kaempferol, and quercetin. These antioxidants help neutralize free radicals and contribute to good health.
*Possible positive effects of Rose tea might include: Its purported benefits include:
*mental benefits, such as to treat dementia and seizures *relaxation, stress reduction, and antidepressant effects *reduced severity of allergic reactions
*antibacterial properties *improved insulin *resistance and heart health
*treatment of liver disease
*laxative effects
*anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic properties
*anticancer effects
(Excerpt from Healthline blog https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/rose-tea#other-benefits)

Isn't it amazing to learn how a few simple ingredients from mother nature's pharmacy can have so many health benefits? I knew you would find this uplifting and inspiring.

So, go get your Golden Turmeric tea from Woolworths today. Take good care of yourself, practice healthy hygiene, take a good vitamin supplement and support your immune system with enough rest, avoid unnecessary stress and enjoy the sanctuary of your own home. This will definitely help you to make the best of the coming winter months! After all winter is supposed to be a season of introspection, rest and inward focus.

I sincerely wish you a long, healthy and prosperous life!

Setting healthy boundaries...

Why boundaries are a necessary aspect to maintaining healthy relationships in business and in life.  By Gideon Busquét-Craucamp

I have been accused recently of having "tough" terms and conditions in my business. I think the term used was "unrealistic". Here is the thing; personal and business terms and conditions or in other words "boundaries" are exactly that. They are clearly defined parameters set up to protect the business owner or the individual from people who are selfish and self centred.

Now I don't mean this in an ugly way or to insult anyone. We all have a self centred mindset and that's ok. We cannot always be aware of what other people's boundaries are... but when you have been informed and you still choose to push those boundaries regardless, then you are being a bully!

It seems that bullying doesn't just happen on the school grounds, it is happening all around us every day. Where did you think children learn such behaviour anyway? Monkey see monkey do... and that's a fact. So it is our responsibility as parents and as adults to set the example of healthy boundaries in our relationships both professionally and at home.

The setting of boundaries are a timeless strategy in order to protect your interests, values and personal space. Boundaries however are not set up for other people's convenience or for their comfort. It is there to ensure a peaceful co-existence. It is there to ensure you don't get "bullied" into giving in to every person's whim, who tries to make demands on your way of life.

Boundaries are a form of self respect. Think of how you feel when you say "yes" when you mean "no". How does it feel when people make important decisions without consulting you, and then expect you to simply comply? These are all good examples of why healthy boundaries should be in place, ready to be communicated and enforced, in your day to day living.

In coaching clients on a daily basis, I have noticed that few people understand the value of having clear boundaries, never mind how to enforce it. So in light of my own recent experience I feel inspired to share my insights into this helpful resource in maintaining a stable and peaceful relationship environment, both at work and at home.

1. Learn to say "no"!

One of the first things that I suggest you work on, is to say "no". For some reason this is one if the hardest things for people to do... especially when it comes to clients. There is a common belief that saying "no" to unreasonable request or demands from clients are unprofessional or even rude.

There is an underlying fear that saying "no" to demanding clients will result in conflict with the client or worse, loosing the client all together and their financial support. I always ask: "Is it worth it to compromise your boundaries and emotional wellbeing for a client like this who is really just being a bully?"

Some people are worth loosing in the end, because you are able to maintain your wellbeing and equilibrium, and it also opens space up for people who do respect your boundaries.

Whether in personal relationships or in business you need to get very clear within yourself about your personal values and ethics to understand what you are willing to compromise on and what not. Once you have a clear understanding of what is negotiable and what isn't, it will be easier for you to say "no" when the request excess the limits of your boundaries.

If you say "yes" when you mean "no", a compromise like that, leave you feeling robbed of your personal power and it has adverse effects on your wellbeing and your relationships.

Think of all the people in your life that you avoid when they call or if you see them in public places. These are people that you have made constant compromises with and you have neglected your personal boundaries.

Avoidance is a clear indication of a compromised relationship! So if you have a number of people on your internal "avoid at all cost" list, then you know that you need to work on your boundaries!

An exception to this is when you have chosen to push people outside of your circle of acceptance simply because they have repeatedly broken your boundaries and violated your trust. Even if you have forgiven them for constantly hurting you, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are welcome back in your inner circle.

2. Boundaries helps to manage expectations.

When we set clear boundaries with our personal and business relationships, it helps to manage expectations from the people we have in our lives. One of my business mottos are "under promise and over deliver!"

One of the worst things you can do is to create expectations by making promises you cannot possibly fulfil. Be very mindful of what you can deliver in any situation and you will always succeed in managing expectations this way.

One of the worst things you can do is to agree to favours or to attempt to fulfill expectations from a person that compromises your integrity. You should never put yourself on fire for the comfort of others.

So make sure what is expected from you, by asking questions and clarifying any aspects of those expectations that you feel uncomfortable with. It is always better to clarify before you begin to go down a path where you might run into trouble or worse, fail to deliver what you have promised. It is very hard to come back from a dissapointment and once you are in a position like that boundaries are usually the last thing that remain standing.

3. Boundaries helps you to steer clear of unnecessary drama and can help to resolve conflict faster.

It will always be your responsibility to clearly communicate your boundaries, especially with new people entering your life, or when you notice that someone is pushing your limitations. It is however not your responsibility how people receive and interpret this information. How people respond is their issues. You don't ever need to try and fix that too!

Once everyone is informed of your boundaries, it becomes easier to maintain a stable sense of feeling empowered. This clarity in communication is usually enough to keep your life relatively drama free. But unfortunately it is in our nature as humans to test boundaries, and if you have children you will know what I mean.

So when you find yourself in the situation where boundaries are being tested, that is the moment when you must reinforce them with clear communication.

For example a personal boundary might be not to entertain house guests on a week night. A friend shows up with a bottle of wine on your doorstep with the expectation to have a party, but it's Tuesday evening 7pm and the kids are in the bath.

The best way to enforce your boundaries will be to thank them for their unexpected visit, but to postpone it to Friday night when it is appropriate and to inform them that you prefer not to drink and socialize on a week night.

A good friend who respects your boundaries will understand and reschedule for the preferred Friday night visit. Someone who doesn't respect your boundaries will insist in coming in and opening the wine... or will continually show up on a week night unannounced.

These people need a boundary reinforcement message, and in the future a behavioral reinforcement message might be to simply not open the door. They will get the message eventually!

Again it is helpful to know how far you are willing to compromise and if you are being tested on boundaries that are not negotiable.

Do not be afraid to walk away from situations or people that test you beyond your limits. Stay true to your boundaries, and remember in those moments why you have them in the first place. Remind yourself that "no", is a full sentence. You don't have to clarify or justify your decision to anyone.

4. Reasons why people struggle with boundaries.

Everyone has a unique conflict style. Some people thrive in high conflict scenarios while others like myself prefer to be a peacemaker. For years I have really struggled with conflict and my life seemed to be filled with drama.

I've been bullied my entire high school career, and nobody ever recognised that I needed help with setting boundaries or showed me how to stand up for myself. This created a co-dependent personality type that would have me attract friends and partners (as well as clients in my early career) into my life that would make me feel safe on the one side, but would always push my boundaries to oblivion when they wanted me to fulfill their needs at a cost to myself.

My personal breakthrough came when I learned this simple trick of creating boundaries and beginning to enforce them one bit at a time. In a way it is like a small country expanding it's borders to allow for more space within itself.

The more you grow within your boundaries and hold your ground, the more space you find within your internal landscape. This brings more clarity and even more courage to enforce more boundaries that is required in order to develop a state of wellbeing and equanimity.

But this didn't happen overnight and it certainly wasn't always easy. Nothing worth doing is ever easy. But it's certainly not impossible.

The best way to work on personal boundaries is to begin with the small easy stuff. Practice with that. Soon you will see that the card house doesn't collapse when you begin by saying "no" to the easy stuff. Then you will grow in your courage to tackle the bigger stuff, and before long you will be a lighthouse of personal strength and integrity.

But I will not sugar coat it for you, there will be days when you fail. There will be people that press your wrong buttons. There will be challenges, but you should never view these as insurmountable obstacles... but rather see it as opportunity to grow and get better at setting boundaries.

5. When to compromise and when not to...

Sometimes it may be necessary to compromise in order for a situation to be resolved. The important part is not to be pushed to make compromises that you are not comfortable with. It is important therefore to know what you are willing to compromise on and which values or moral points you are absolutely not willing to compromise with.

It's usually a good thing to always ask yourself, if what you are asked to compromise on, will cause you or anyone involved any harm. If the answer is yes, then you should walk away immediatly to maintain your position.

If nobody, including yourself, is being harmed, then you must ascertain wether the compromise you are about to make will be a once-off or a repeating event... and if it will be an on-going situation, you must ask yourself if you can live with it repeating or not.

Don't be bullied into making decisions in a hurry. Taking your time to reflect on important decisions is a boundary in itself. If you can't decide right now it might be a good idea to ask for time to consider all the aspects of the decision and the consequences of the decision.

Don't feel bad to ask a friend you trust for their input and opinion. Once you have determined that you are willing to compromise or not, communicate that decision and then stand by it. Don't back off. If you keep giving in to a repeat offender, all you are doing is giving your power away, and feeling worse because of it. So once you have drawn the line in the sand be willing to stand by it. You might be pleasantly surprised on how a situation works out for the best in the end anyway.

6. Ways to communicate boundaries.
Boundaries need not be communicated aggressively or in complicated legal documents. Like I have said earlier the best way to begin is to set a clear intention to say "no" when you mean "no". This sincere expression supported by congruent behaviour will speak volumes in defining personal boundaries.

Begin with small issues with good friends and family. Communicate that you intend to work on your personal boundaries and ask your family and friends to support you by respecting your decisions during the initiation process. But I remind you that sometimes it will be up to you, to remain strong.

Get clear about your personal values as this will go a long way towards clarifying what is important for you and where or when you are willing to "go with the flow".

In business it helps to draw up boundaries by means of a terms and conditions of service delivery document that you can attach to appointment confirmation with clients, and maybe a introduction email that you can share with new clients that enter your business. Be willing to experiment a bit with this until you find a way that works for you.

Once this is drawn up I find that clients tend to be mindful and respectful of your terms and you can get back to doing what you do best.

My advice to you as I wrap this up, is to take it one day at a time. Trial an error can only make you stronger and wiser. Never be too hard on yourself. Remember that people come into your life for a reason, a season and very few for a lifetime.

So don't be scared to try a few boundaries in your life. Yes, not everyone will like it, but the ones that do are the guide posts that will show you that you too are worthy. You are allowed to be happy and you can live a life free from emotional vampires and drama queens.

So go out and live an empowered life. Set some boundaries and thrive!
